Ouch! I bet that is painful.
I've found a link that I think might be
helpful. If you have any underlying
health conditions, they may also be a
contributing factor.
Also, you should seriously consider seeing
your primary care physician or a
dermatologist. It looks like a pretty bad
problem.
Oh, and you should probably keep the area
clean and dry to prevent a secondary
infection.
