My brother just called me, to let me know that he got let off and has a $300 fine for tresspassing, and the fact that my grandma and great grandma might be coming to visit me for xmas. I dunno what ima do it will be very akward and my theory is they are gonna expect me to drive all over the place to do sight seeing well not as much as when my grandma came with my parens, my great grandma i think turns 93 this year lol. But it will be soo akward with jason not here or anything but i guess ill find out sometime soon or she will call and let me know or something. My grandma misses the kids lol, she was like jordynne was soo quiet. I guess it will be nice having them here though but still akward.

What was your brother doing when he was charged with trespassing? Confused

Wow, that sucks if your family expects you to drive them around. Do they know that you're not familiar with Germany? Especially with two young children... I'd definitely let them know ahead of time that you're not a tour guide! And if they'd like to sight see, they should rent a car and buy a map. Laughing

I beleive that my grandma is well aware that i am not good with getting around germany lol. but i told my brother to tell them that as well, But most places u go downtown its alot of walking and id ont think a 93 yr old will want to do much of that.
My brother got kicked out of walmart for "stealing" only this time they werent lol. But the manager or anyone never said when he was allowed back in walmart. And he went in there a few times cuz he drove my sister over there to get things and the manager saw him and didnt say anything , then some girl his gf knew that they got ina spat with told someone he was there and had the cops out, then he had his xanax on him but not in his script bottle so they wanted to charge him with illegal substances until his gf brought the RX over. He was almsot gonna have probation but went to court today and ended up with just a $300 fine and thats it.

Maybe you could look into booking your grandparents for a bus tour. Then they could see the sites and you don't have to worry about carting them around an area you are not familiar with.

Glad things turned out good for your bro.

I agree with Cindy, booking a bus tour sounds like a great idea. That way the kids won't have to sit in the car and you won't have to worry about them fussing while giving them a tour.

yeah, ill have to look and see if they do them from here, most go on at vilsek because lack of participants over here. It will still be weird with them visiting me lol, im just used to being around them with all the rest of our family. not just 2 old people and me and 2 toddlers.

I'm sure the kids will keep them entertained. I would be thrilled if I got to spend time with my grandmas....especially if they came to a whole different country to do so. I was ecstatic when my grandma came with our family to go to Mexico and visit my in-laws. They all want to go back now.

I'm sure it'll be a good time, at least they even want to come? Why would it be so awkward? Be positive, it goes a long way. I'm sure you'll have a great time.
