You can't compare your little boy to other toddlers his age. They are all so different in many different ways. What your LO does very well another child may not and vice versa.

It sounds like he's getting along fine. He's still young. Keep practicing words with him. When and if he is coming to you for something try to make sure he's saying what he wants (i.e. drink, eat, hug, etc) instead of you reading his mind or using your mommy vision.

I wouldn't suggest going online looking for answers, because the info you will get will scare you. Talk to his ped at his appt.

Best wishes

Mommy35 is SOOOOOOOOOOo RIGHT! YOu can not compare children when it scomes to talking or walking or who does what first. My nephew did not start talking until he was almost 3.......Now we can't get him ot sut up! Tell your pediatrician that you are concerned and ask him for suggestions! He's a cutey! Laughing
