Hi
Hopefully I can help a bit here. When you go for a pap smear during your pyhysical exam, the pap smear will come back with either a normal reading or abnormal reading. My daughter recently was diagnosed with HPV and has to go back for another type of pap smear where they biopsy a suspecious area and look at it under a microscope. If these areas are precancerous, they will freeze them off. She found out she had the HPV after her physical when the Dr called and told her she had abnormal reading and needed to come back. Check out WebMd and look up HPV, theres a world of info there. I do not think there is a test for guys. HPV is not curable but treatable. It does leavd to cervical cancer. Lots of times women do not show symptoms such as the warts, its found out from a physical, otherwise she may never be aware she's been exposed to the virus. Hope this has helped you some!

I have none of the symptoms and I know it usually never develops into anything in men. I'll just keep getting checked during my physicals I guess.

Thanks

im a man so thats doesnt really apply. basically when i first went for test they said i have it, ive had it for years. it doesnt look like any gw on the net (pictures) but it wont go away when you freeze or burn. another doc said it was gloands, i was circumcised very young so that could be reason, but they dont go away with treatment, swollen glands generally would. so i want to know is it warts or glands
