Q: Removal of Stitches Following Surgery

Ok last week i underwent surgery to remove three large cancers and was wondering how long does it take for dissolvable stitches to dissolve.
i`m 900km away from my surgeon and forgot to ask him at the time .

It depends on what kind of material your doctor used. Some stitches will go in a week and other kind of dissolving stitches will go in two weeks minimum.
