My daughter contracted ringworm, on her shoulder. Her husband has fungus in his toe nails. The doctor informed them that his "ailment" is considered to be cosmetic, by some insurance companies, and may not be covered by insurance.

Is this so? How could ringworm be considered to be cosmetic?

Thank you.

Ringworm
It's definitly ringworm. The problem is her husband has fungi toenails. That's the issue. I don't think topicals work in nails. He'll just re-infect everyone.
