Q: Ovulating Already????

Hi so i have not been taking birth control for 1 week now, i had my withdrawl bleeding and everything is going as it should. However three days after i stopped taking my pills i used and ovulation tester and it tested positive i thought that was kinda weird so i tested again on friday same thing and again this morning and also a positive.. can i really be ovulating immediatly after stopping bc ... i just thought it seemed weird because i have heard it can take some women a while to even ovulate after stopping bc and i was immediatly or so the tests say... :S

ARE you sure you are reading them correctly?

ALL ovulation tests will have 2 lines!

But it is only positive when one line is MUCH MUCH darker than the other.

YES You can ovulate after using BC...

Your body starts it natural cycle right up again.

yes i am sure i am reading them correctly.. lol i always see two lines! Thats why i was wondering.. hmmm.. Smile well i guess well just have to see.. i'd be so happy if i could get pregnant right away.. even though i've heard its very unlikley.. Smile

No it is not unlikely at all.

That is when many women get pregnant, after they come off BC. They do not think that they would be 'fertile' yet, so they take chances.

TWO lines will always be present in an ovulation detection kit, no matter what time of the month it is.

You just have to know how to read it.

thanks so much for that site it was actually really helpful!! So i guess after reading that i have a clearer idea of what my tests have been saying!!! I was ovulating on two of the tests i took except for the very first one! So atleast i know!! Thanks so much !Smile
