I am only 24 and I have a variety of symptoms. Since high school I have been getting what I think is pleurisy, several times a month. It comes on as an extremely sharp pain in the left/center part of my chest that hurts worse when I breathe. It usually doesn't last more than a couple of minutes. I get tingling/numbness in my hands frequently. I am always tired, even though I get 9-10 hrs of sleep a night. I get strange rashes at random, but none that look like the malar rash. I rarely get joint pain though. I got my cholesterol tested and it was 240. I'm a young vegetarian who eats very healthy and exercises, I'm normal weight, so the high cholesterol is strange to me. I mentioned to my mother that I thought that maybe I had Lupus and she said that her blood tests always say she has abnormal ANA, but she doesn't pursue it. I'm thinking I should get tested. I go to a military hospital and they always act like I'm a hypochondriac.
