Sore Throat Day After Oral Posted: 08-25-07 10:05am
I'm afraid that i may have an std, but i
am not sure.
I performed oral sex on a close male
friend on monday. (Technically it was
tuesday, seeing as it was 12:30) I was
completely idiotic in that i did not even
think about using a condom. When I woke up
on tuesday i had a really sore throat. It
feels like i have gunk in the back of my
throat.. Anyways, it is now saturday and
my sore throat has not gone away.
I have been trying to figure out what this
may be. I've read about gonorrhea thinking
that may be it, except for the fact that
the incubation period for me was so short;
twelve hours. Is there any STD that i
could possibly have? All of the research
i've read has said that most of the std
take anywhere from two days to two months
to show up. This just seems really soon to
me.
Please help me.

Yeah, it sounds like you don't have an
STD.
However what may have happened was simply
irritation of the throat due to oral,
semen, and then sleeping. When I sleep
with my mouth open, I can get a sore
throat that lingers for a week!!

Im kinda in the same situation, but i am a
male. I feel like i have gunk in the back
of my throat and i have red bumps on the
back of my tongue. Its been about a month
since oral. My throat hasnt been sore
though
