Am I Mild Hypo or a panic attack ? Skinny w/ fast metabolism Posted: 08-24-07 20:03pm
Since I was about 12, I have had mild hypo
( nothing ever diagnosed ) and it never
really bothered me or interfered in my
life. I would just always be aware that if
I started to get shaky, I needed to eat
something and it would go away fast.
Always skinny and fast metabolism.
Now I'm 42, and have some stress in my
life and hypo symptoms seemed to come on
worse. Not sure if this is mostly stress
or is my condition getting worse? Panic
attack or hypo? Thinking it was getting
worse, I started the Krimmel plan diet and
I'm into my 3rd week and feeling worse
than I have ever felt in my life.
Went to see one endo this week & he
said that because fatigue was my number
one symptom ( especially after a crash),
he thought I was not getting enough REM
sleep at night. He suggested that I work
on my stress levels so I get restorative
sleep. Does this make sense? I am seeing
another endo plus my GP next week.
Any insight greatly appreciated!
I bought a glucose meter - when or if
should I test myself?

Doesn't sound like a panic attack to me.
I can't really help you but yoga really
helps with stress.

More stress/less sleep can always worsen a
preexisting condition. Tell us how the doc
visits went!!
