I was diagnosed with lupus 6 years ago,
then ended up with a loser doctor who told
me I was a hypochondriac. Long story.
Anyway, I am about to get back on
insurance after being uninsured for about
3 years, and I need a new doctor in the
dallas/fort worth area who will listen to
me!!!!!! I am currently struggling
through an episode (my foot is swollen to
the point that I can't wear shoes on it -
thank heaven for birkenstocks!!!!
); fevers, sinus/utis/etc.
Anyone have any recommendations??
Thanks in advance,
nancy

Hi nancyintx! I am ladybrannon who is
also in texas. Welcome to the forum.
Unfortunately, I just moved here and I
live in austin. So, I can't help with the
doctor issue.
But I did want to welcome you and tell you
that this is a great place. I look
forward to getting to know you better.
Hugs,

Hi nancy, i'm mia. Welcome, i'm from
dallas, also. What area are you living
in? I've had a great doctor in dallas,
that I unfortunetly can no longer go to
because of insurance, his name is scott
zashin. He is the president of the north
texas chapter of the lupus association.
I don't know if he is on your new
insurance or not, but that is my
recommendation.
Good luck,
mia

area right now. I'll see if he's
in-network. :d
