Bad breath can often be the first sign of a disease. But how do doctors define bad breath and what are the major causes of bad breath?...
Did you know that bad breath can be associated with sinus problems? Learn more about the common (and unfamiliar) causes of bad breath here....

Hi all,

I just wanted to throw this out there and see if anyone had any new suggestions.

I've had bad breath since I was 12 years old. My mother has also had it all her life.

I'm 37 now, through the years I've been to doctors, dentists, had my tonsils removed, been to 'the fresh breath centre' in London, the Eastman Dental Hospital in London, changed my diet, done all the clean the tongue, clean the inside of your cheeks, had my sinuses flushed out, attend the dentist every 6 months, use a tongue scraper, made sure of fruit and veg - although fruit seems to make it worse.

There are lots of other stuff I've tried even colonic irrigation, yeast cleanses, replacing good bacteria in the stomach, garlic, oregano, Threelac.......... I could go on and on and fill you in on the last 25 years but I wont.

I would really love to change my situation, it has stopped me having relationships simply because I feel uncomfortable being near people in case they smell me, which people do anyway and back away - I've even had someone move away from me on a train and tell me I smell bad. My friends are kind but still hold their noses!

If there's anyone who knows of anything to try that has worked for them I would be eternally grateful.

Thanks

Corae
