Pregnant And Feeling Depressed...
Posted: 08-23-07 17:14pm

Hi all,

This is not for me, this is actually for my sister who is almost three months pregnant and she feels depressed and we ( especially her husband ) don't know what to do anymore. I hope this is just a passing stage "feeling low" during pregnancy. For some they say, you can control what you feel, they just don't beleive in depression.

You mean like scientology? Confused

If she's feeling depressed, she needs to speak with her doctor/midwife. It's possible that it's just a phase and she'll get over it, but it's better to err on the side of caution. I'd suggest making an appointment as soon as possible.

Depression is very serious!!, She could be putting unwanted stress onto her unborn child.

If she has had bad morning sickness or a pretty rough 3 months than i can understand her feeling down in the dumps but if this continues she should at least talk to someone, someone with an unbiased opinion i found is good!!
