i went to the doctor today for my intake.
i told them i needed a prescription for my
nausea and i ended up getting a
suppository. so here i am thinking a
suppository doesn't sound *that* bad, just
stick it up my vagina and i'm good to
go... only i realized it doesn't go up my
vagina... no wonder she gave me all those
gloves!
i've also lost 6 pounds in a week.
pregnancy = best diet ever?
i asked if i'd get an early u/s since i
transferred there halfway through my finn
pregnancy and didn't know how they did
things. she said i'd get one if i decided
to do the (word i can't remember) testing
(for down syndrome and such). at my last
doctor they just did bloodwork for that so
i was going to skip it this time, but now
i'm doing it because i really want the
extra u/s. so that'll be on september 18th
and i can't wait. i also have an
appointment on the 4th and i'm hoping to
hear the heartbeat, i think i'll be around
9 weeks 3 days or so.
nick is bringing home my awesome butt
suppositories. i hope they work.

Nick is being "home" about the
suppositories?? Gotta love it!
I really hope it works for you. The
suppositories really don't sound too bad
if they get rid of your horrible nausea.
The 4th is just around the corner. I hope
you hear the heartbeat as well!! Please
let us know if your prescription works.

Wow, poor Bridget! I'm so sorry you feel
so ill! I hope
the pills help! I didn't know
suppositories could help morning sickness
though... it's in your butt, not your
stomach... but
I'm not a doctor, so what do I know?
I miss you, Bridget!

Hey Bridge, I wish I could take the nausea
from you.I'd wave my wand and you'd be all
well and happy. Suppositories are a good
thing......my ass use to say EXIT ONLY,
but not since the discovery of the
SUPPOSITORY! When my daughter was a baby
she was given these for nausea and it
worked. Not sure what they give babies
these days or adults. I do hope you feel
better soon. How's the Finn Meister? Give
him bigs hugs for me!

I think they give suppositories so that
the drug would get into her system. I
doubt she'd be able to keep the pill down
if they were to give her pills.
It's kinda like when they give sick babies
tylenol suppositories because they're
continually vomiting.
I'm sorry you're feeling horrible. Try
your hardest to stay hydrated. I'd hate
for you to have to go to the hospital for
dehydration!

I agree with Sarah and the others, I hope
those suppositories work for you! Losing 6
pounds isn't to great. Please don't get
de-hydrated, hospitals are not fun. Hope
Finn Is doing okay. Hope you don't have to
work until you get to feeling better! I
have been thinking and wondering about
you, we want our Bridget back. Glad you
are getting an ultrasound, hope everything
is okay! No need giving you oral meds, you
might lose them too. Have you been able to
keep anything down?

thanks everyone! i feel loved!
well, the phenegran is not the miracle i'd
hoped for. it does take the edge off and
make me feel less sick, but i still feel
crappy and on top of that it makes me
groggy. i can eat again though, but i'm
very picky and still have a ton of
aversions.
i feel so bad for finn and nick. finn
watches tv practically all day and drags
himself around whining because he's bored.
nick has been stuck taking care of all the
household chores after he gets home from
working all day. it's hard not to feel
really down, but i'm trying to remind
myself it's just temporary.
i seriously had no idea that morning
sickness could be this bad. if my first
pregnancy had been this bad i really don't
know if i would've wanted to try again.
it's a relief to know i won't be getting
pregnant for at least a few years after
this and hopefully it won't be this bad.
thanks for thinking of me! i miss you all!

Yeah, it really sucks doesn't it?
I would spend all day throwing up, or dry
gagging. The funny thing for me was that
it was almost the entired second term
before it went away, and was all day
long.
Hope you feel better soon Bridget. I need
some Finn pictures.
