Q: Glaucoma Baerveld Implant Not Working Properly?

Hello,
My friend's 2 and a half years old boy had finaly a BAERVELD implant model BG-101-350 into his eye. The sergery was made on 21.05.2007 in Germany, Koeln. Its been 3 months already and his eye is constantly tearing, very dark, blury and has high presure. My question is if the implant is not working well could it be removed and is there any other alternatives
