I have written many agencies and medical offices trying to find some information. My husband was in the Air Force and did two tours in Viet Nam stationed on the front lines as a weather observer. The weather observation area was on the flight path surrounded by fuel and chemicals...Agent Orange and others. The bladders leaked, personnel spilled fuels and chemicals, etc.

Approximately 15 years ago my husband could no longer produce testosterone, he later developed adult onset diabetes, neuropathy, hypertension, had to have stents in his heart. The most recent developments are ones that I am trying to research with little luck...within the last 11 months he has developed both hypotension and bradycardia. The cardiologist says the EKG, stress test and holter monitor do not show anything he is concerned about.

My father was in Nam for 2 tours, died at age 60 after 2 1/2 years of declining health. He looked 80 years old. He was told he had Wegener's Granulomotosis, his kidneys failed, he could no longer produce red blood cells. His first heart attach was at age 46, he developed diabetes before his death. The cause of death on his death certificate is hypotension.

I would appreciate any information or leads you can provide regarding other veteran's experiencing hypotension, bradycardia, any reports or studies that have any information at all would be most appreciated. Thank you for your time.

I'm completely positive I have the information your looking for. My Dad also had Wegener's Granulomotosis. My Dad was also in Vietnam. He was also right where the agent orange was sprayed as well. He was in charge of building the barracks and construction. He was also in Vietnam for two years and the same age as your husband. Therefore I'm thinking he was in Vietnam the same time as your husband. My Dad ended up dieing from Wegener's Granulomotosis at age 62 on 02/11/08.
My brother and I strongly believe my Dad got this disease from Vietnam. After reading your posting I'm almost positive. We are looking to file a lawsuit possibly against the Veterans administration. We also happen to know the Doctor that has studied this disease and written everything about it. And believe we can help each other.
Also Your husband's kidney failure and the non production of red blood cells is part of Wegener's Granulomotosis Vasculitious Disease. I would really like to talk to you more about this. please wrute me. Hope to talk to you soon. Darlene.

Wegeners Granulomatosis and Agent Orange exposure.
My husband also has Wegeners. He was in Vienam from 1969 through 1970. The area he was in was sprayed with Agent Orange. He was diagnosed with WG at 39. I also believe his exposure to Agent Orange could have caused his illness. Please reply.
