SO excited, and a little nervous. We all went out for "coffee" before we dropped her off. She had hot cocoa. She felt pretty important.

Thanks! She picked that dress out herself. However another little girl was wearing the same dress this morning when we got to school. That's like totally uncool, like oh my gawd!

It does seem early. Our kids don't go back until next week. Actually we have some schools that are back in up north, because they take a couple of weeks off in September to pick potatos.

Your Daughter is soo cute! You should be one proud Mom! You are not getting older, just wiser! Time just goes by too darn fast! Geneva seems so proud of herself and she seems like such a happy girl!

aww she is sooo cute, i love that outfit, i remember this girl i babysat got excited to start kindergarden because they get the teachers letters in the mail of who there teacher is, she got all excited saying she got mrs so and so and her moms like you dont even know who that is lol.

Did you cry? I try to avoid seeing the kindergarteners on the first day because their moms are usually bawling. I got emotional one time after seeing a few moms drop their kids off at school for the first time because they were crying. A few other teachers that saw those parents were getting a little emotional as well. I felt so stupid.

Yep I cried elephant tears. The day before, though, I had a panic attack, so I thought I did rather well!

She said her day was great. She was sure to report to me the names of the kids who got in trouble all day. Can you believe they send homework home for Kindergarten? I think it's ridiculous!

i always get a little bit misty eyed every year but it was harder this year with my son but i had 3 smiling faces after wards tho
