Q: Temporary Deafness

Today id been having a lie down for awhile doing some reading and then when I stood up to go to the bathroom I couldnt really hear anything. It was a really weird sensation. Kind of like if you have water or wax in your ear, or you are underwater and you can hear but not very well and everything internal sounds really loud.
I dunno I had this once before and it lasts for about 5 mins then I get this ringing in my ears for another 5 mins then it goes away.
Anyone know what this could be? Could it be from just getting up to fast or something?

I should point out also that is wasnt the kind of deafness you get from the blood rushing to your head when you get up... Something different.
