Hi there,

I have just lost my baby 4 weeks ago due to stillbirth. I am extremely sad and emotional at the moment and have been prescribe Temazepan which I have just got off due to it not being able to put me to sleep anymore. I have just been prescribed Stilnox, it was able to put me to sleep but I woke up extremely tired. Has anyone had experience with Stilnox and know of any side affects?

Regards,
Forgetmenot

You should get your Thyroid checked out. This happens quite often after pregnancy. Ask your doctor about it!

I pray you have strenght to get through this tough time...

Get your thyroid checked there may be a problem. There was with mine after pregnancy.

But honestly... i think you would be still grieving and coming to terms with your loss. I cant imagine your pain.
You may be suffering from depression. Which under the circumstances is totally understandable. Have you tried seeing a therapist?

The only thing i know about stilnox is that over here in Australia there has been a big kerfuffle with it. Because people taking it were reported doing odd dangerous things in there sleep...like driving, wandering streets and in one instant even having sex, totally unaware. The medical board over here is reviewing its place on the market.
Good luck with everything
