my girlfriend started the birth control
pill aviane but since started has still
not had her period it has been a two or
more weeks late now. she has taken a few
pregnancy tests but all negative. were not
sure wats going on. is this something to
worry about or can it be normal??

I'm confused.
When a girl is on birth control, she only
gets a period during the placebo week.
Did the placebo week come and go, and she
still doesn't have a period?
If she hasn't had a placebo week yet, then
of course she's not going to have her
period.
In the first case (placebo week came and
went) just wait until her next placebo
week and test if she still doesn't get a
period.
In the second case (placebo week hasn't
come yet) then stop worrying!

Some women simply do not have a period
while on birth control pills, it is
because of the hormones.
It is not dangerous, and does not cause
problems.

It kinda sounds to me like she began her
pack mid-cycle or something.
