a few days ago i tried having sex for the first time and it really hurt, more than i thought it would but we had to stop becasue i started bleeding a lot. everyone i talk to says it shouldnt have happened and i shoudnt have been in pain for the 3 hours afterward.

i figured it would just go away and the last 2 days i havent had any problems but after i masturbated i noticed that i started bleeding again. Is that normal or could something have been torn other then my 'cherry'

yes he could have popped your hymen which causes bleeding
he could also have irritated your cervix

and if he fingered you before hand then his nails could have tore the inside tissue and made a cut and when you had sex could have caused it to bleed

I would tell a gyno. Since you're starting to have sex you should go anyway. When you get checked mention the pain and bleeding to the doc, it's not normal.
