Well I think they might be able to tell earlier by amniocentisis but I found out my baby's sex at 17 weeks 5 days by ultrasound. Hope that helps

I'm sorry! Katie's right. Amniocentesis can be done quite early on (tho it's risky) but otherwise for me, they wanted me to schedule my u/s between 18 and 23 weeks if I wanted to have a chance to know the gender of my baby.
