Q: Weight Gain Plan

I'm 15, 6' about 119-121 pounds. My body is skinny but defined. I only have a set of dumbells at home so I mostly work on my upper body. Sit ups, forearm, bicep, & chest workouts. Equally as important I lack a diet plan. It would be helpful if you could provide me a full body workout plan and a diet to go along to reach an ideal weight. This isn't anything close to having a eating disorder, I love food, I eat a meal about every 2 hours or so, yet my weight is gaining much at all.

You need to hit your legs with weights as well. Dumbells can only do so much...I'd get a gym membership if at all possible.

Be happy with your physique, if you workout with weights, the pounds will come. More importantly, as you mature you will gain quite a bit more than you realize. I weighed 120 when I was 15 and now weight 200 and I was nearly the same height as you. My feeling is that their is only so much you can do before it starts to become a ridiculous amount of time spent on something that will goes away quickly when you stop.

Yeah, I've been trying to get into a gym around here in Dubai for the summer, but I haven't gotten any luck, so I've been focusing on stuffing my face every 2-3 hours. So i've imagine i've grown at least 15 pounds since I haven't checked the scale since somewhere in June. I'll get a membership around the end of the month when I get back to Canada.

Hey man, Try not to obsess over it. You are doing good with your upper body workouts. Your body will grow to a certain degree but you gotta realize that genetics does play a large factor. You must learn to be happy with who you are. I am not entirely satisfied with my body, but I do not worry about it too much. Try to get to that state of mind if you can!
