There is no medical benefit for a healthy
man to shop off his foreskin. There are in
fact far more downsides than "up" sides. I
would never recommend circumcision to
anyone unless they had something like
incurable phimosis.

I've got to agree with Eiri on this one
and I'm cut. I never had a choice,
something you do have and I recommend you
stay the way you are. Logically, as she
said, there is no medical reason to do
this, so why would you?
I have never had a problem with what
little foreskin I have left, but after
researching the subject, I have become an
adamant uncut proponent. It's cutting off
a part of your body, man! Most women are
not scared off by uncut men and most don't
care, because they usually like or love
the guy for other reasons.
Phimosis is the only reason to get cut
nowadays because the US is really the only
place where circumcisions are performed
for family reasons like cleanliness,
matching the father or looks. Believe me,
if you clean your foreskin regularly, it's
all good.

I'll make it unanimous and strongly agree
with the others not to do it unless there
is a real physical reason for it. I was
also circumcised as a baby and I see
absolutely no benefit to it.

The idea that circumcision ruins
everything is far from proven. There are
both studies and anecdotes that claim that
it has little if any negative effect on
sexual function, just as there those that
say the opposite for 'the other side'. In
fact, some men that have had it done as
adults say their sensation is improved.
So it seems there are success stories to
match the sob stories.
