Being Hot Is Not a Good Thing? (any Suggestions) Posted: 08-19-07 09:33am
For my whole life I've hated the heat and
am almost always too hot. I sleep with ice
in the winter. I've been taken to doctors
and stuff but they say I'm fine as far as
they know. They want to take tests but our
family is kinda struggling financially and
neither of my parents trust doctors.
Thyroid problems have been ruled out. I've
been in the hospital from overheating when
it was 80 degrees. I don't drink caffeine
because I figure getting dehydrated would
make it worse. I hate this and am going to
go to college in Alaska because this place
is a desert and I feel like I'm frying
alive all the time. My body temp is
normal. Help?!

Hi Shire
Firstly ... I have no answers to why you
feel so overheated all the time ..
.. so make sure you drink plenty of cold
water, to cool you down ... and keep you
hydrated... however, this may temporarily
make you feel cooler, but it's no long
term solution.
You must try and trust Doctors, and ask if
there is any financial help you can get to
have tests and treatment.
I wish I could help more ...
Please keep in touch and hopefully the
more you talk about it, the more we may be
able to un-ravel the problem
