When did your babies start to go through seperation anxiety?

Last night, Gabe stayed with my mom.. I got off work at 9:30, picked up Chris, & we stopped by my mom's house at about 10pm to say goodnight to him.. He was SO HAPPY to see us, & we played with him & stuff for a little while & said goodnight & goodbye, & the second I handed him to my mom, he gave us the pouty lip & started crying!! Chris picked him up again & he was all super happy & snuggly with Chris, & then he gave him back to my mom & he started crrrrying! We made our way to the door & he was watching us & whining & crying. He's even starting to do the reach-for-you-arm-thing. Shocked I guess it just seems a little early!

It was so cute, though.. It was breaking Chris's heart! He was like "Babe, are you sure we should leave him here tonight? I mean, we can take him home, it's not a big deal.." Laughing

Alyvia started on Halloween. We were going to a costume party and gave her to Aaron's parents to watch, and when we came back she'd been screaming the entire time we'd been gone. That would put her at... 3 1/2 months or so. She still has major anxiety away from us. Neutral

my twins are 5 now and I have a 2 1/2 yr old as well and I can not go anywhere with out one or all of them clinging to me. Then when I say mommy has to go the start to scream and cry it is heart wrenching. sometimes I cave and end up staying home. My five year olds can be worse than the 2 year old. When they were younger and still with my youngest and sometimes with the older 2 I am not even aloud to go to the bathroom without all three coming with meLOL Or just from the living room to the kitchen which you can fully see from the living room without them crying. The worst separtion anxiety my kids and I have from each other is when I am in the hospital. I cry my self to sleep because I am expriencing separtion anxiety from them just as much as they are from me.
anyways understand it will change when they turn to hating us when they are teenagers
