I need some help. My husband has had intestinal pain, that goes thru his abdomen down thru testical and rectum for the past 3 days. He feels like he needs to have a bowel movement but either can't or doesn't feel like it is completed. The stools that do come out are thin, which is what concerns me. He has no fever, bleeding, weight loss, vomiting or diareha. He tried a laxitive, didn't help. He also doesn't want to go to a doctor! I am very concerned. Thanks!

He really needs to see a doctor and he needs to see a gastroinolgist and get a colonosopy....He might just have colitis and there is medication for this, but he needs to check it out, these things sometimes go away and than come back again.....................Good luck, ss

Re: Intestianl Pain
Has a very bad pain that occurs when she sits down it starts in the rectum and it goes up to her left side of her abdomen, its like a sharp pain. After she had intercourse the pain was so severe she could not even walk, it was all over her abdemen even to urinate or cough it would hurt, she is going to the doctor in a week, but would like to have an idea before.

Thank you

Some cycles I have had this type of pain when i'm ovulating, I figure the pain is from the egg erupting from the ovary. It has hurt so severe I couldn't stand up. I don't know why this happens to some and not others. On me its always on my right ovary that hurts. I don't have my appendix anymore or that would be a concern since its my right side.

When I was ovulating I had pains like this also. It almost always occured during the night. I would wake up sweating and feeling so awful! I would get dizzy when I tried to get up and go get my mom. I am now on bc and it hasnt happened since i've started it. Just a thought!
