I had an ultrasound done on wed and they didn't see a fetus in the sac and stated that it was possible that I have a blighted Ovum. The next day, I startd have some spotting but no cramping. Everyday, the cramping gets worse and the bleeding is the same but todayits getting a little worse. I was 7wks along and now I'm very depressed. I am also dealing with the break-up of me and my boyfriend and I just dont know what to do anymore. I just wish I had someone to talk to that has gone through this before. Please can someone reply???? Crying or Very sad

Hi I had the same thing about 4 years ago, I went for my first scan and they told me they could see the sac but no baby... I was boked in for a d&c the next day. I was heartbroken. As we werent trying for a baby anyway we made the disiscion not to try too hard afterwards. Within 3 months i was pregnant and now have a lovely 4 year old son.

Hi, I'm sorry about the tough time your going thru. I recently experienced a very similar situation and don't wish it upon anyone. I would suggest you wait at least 7-10 days and repeat the U/S before deciding on any treatment options. I didn't change the outcome for me but I have corresponded with several people who ended up having a viable pregnancy because they were not as far along as they originally thought.
best wishes,
Lissa
