im 17yrs old , i have constant back pain where i need to twist and bend my back to make it crack. the pain is around my shoulder blade and lower back it feels like a ball. i fear its a tumor or somthing like that as i also have neck/jaw/head pains. i fears to have a brain tumor although people form the forum with similar symptoms say its most likley anxiety and stress causing tmj

i must admit i am under stress and anxiety as i believe and still do sometimes that i have a brain tumor along with my back issues. i know this is not your usual ' i lifted something heavy and hurt my back' and i understand if you cant give me a explanation thank you for everything

How about trying to stretch your back? It's pretty normal to feel cracking as your vertebrae adjust themselves. Do you exercise?

Seeking Medical Advice
Hello Mike,

I truly hope that you will seek medical advice from a neurosurgeon/spine surgeon. PLEASE don't delay. I"m very concerned that delay may/will make things worse.

My thoughts are with you.

Hi Mike
Sorry to hear that you're having this much pain ....
so you understand it a little better, i'll tell you a little about 'backs'.

Your spine is of your 'central nervous system' and although you may have hurt your shoulders and neck, it may feel that you've 'hurt' your brain too .... as these area's are all connected with one another ... but then, so is your big toe .... have you ever banged your big toe, and felt sick afterwards or got a headache ... all the nerves are connected with one another....and they all send messages to the brain.

as Rich as suggested, see a doctor about your concerns, and they'll give you anti-inflammatories (to reduce any swelling) and put your mind at ease....
Also 'the girlfriend' suggests, try an ice pack on the area that hurts, don't leave it on too long, as you'll end up with 'frost bite' Wink but this will reduce any inflamed muscle / tissue and make it feel easier, and less painful .... but please see a doctor ....

You take care, and keep intouch..

Ginger
