Hi Everyone,

This is my first month on clomid and last night my husband and I had sex and upon insertion it was stinging me... kind of like salt in a wound. i would have sworn I there would have been blood afterwards but there wasn't. The stinging pain was so bad that it was literally throbbing afterward. I never ever have issues with painful sex. Would clomid cause something like this?

Hi there,
Clomid caused me very painful ovulations but no stinging. It was extremely sore to TTC, lots of pressure pain.
Any chance you have an infection??
I would definetly discuss with your doc.
