hello, i have a panic disorder and agraphobia. Basically i get intensly sick and panicy whenether i'm in a situation i can't controll. I was COMPLETELY fine and very out going until a year ago when i got ill on a bus, which they tell me was a trigger for panic dosorder. I am on prozac now, but its not started working yet because i am only on the 2nd week. Basically i just want to know that the panic attacks will stop, i'm driving myself crazy doing reseach - could someone please PLEASE confirm that these disorders do go away?

Agoraphobia
Yes they do. Or they get better anyway. I found mild dose of diazepan helped loads.

Please look up hyperventilation syndrome. When you get short of breath for no reason try to fight it. I know with agoraphobia when you get short of breath you think its a heart attack or heart disease. Well they dont come and go when you feel anxious and i know when your having a heart attack your heart would pump like a health forum becaause it cant. You may feel difference within days. Just try it.

Let me know. Hope this helps. You might think oh another tw*t who has had it trying to tell me caca. Trust me i had it and would leave house for ten months. Luckly i had internet and ebay to order things to help me and do research.

P.S try every day at night, with your mobile phone incase of emergency, having a walk with no one about. go a far as you can then go home even if its a few metres. Try more and more. I only once when i had to go up ton with girlfriend to have a suit fitting had a panic attack while walking, fought through it and then felt perfectly fine after. Mat help you. Oh yeh and dont look at people walking by makes you dizzy and worse try and move your eyes as least as you can. MAil me and tell me progress and i can some more things i done.
