burpting and wind are normal at time i have excess wind too. but if you have other signs like nausea, vomitting and brest tenderness those can be signs of pregnancy.

i know since ive been preg i pass gas alot more frequently (sorry tmi lol)

I don't think it would be one of the first signs of pregnancy - but it definitely a part of what you go through when pregnant.
