Post Chest Question

I am 17 year old male, and I have something bothering me. If you go on the beach and look around you'll see guys who have a slight dent in their chest. My problem is mine is as deep as my thumb is thick, to give you an idea that's like 2/3 of an inch. I was just wondering if anybody else out there has something like I do. It's not effecting my breathing or anything like that, but I have been having chest pain, although it feels like a pulled muscle (started a new job, a bit of lifting involved). But can anyone else out there share some stories with me about themselves or others they know that have a slightly bigger dent in their chest? I'm just petrified of it getting worse that will require surgery, however I talked to a doctor who said she seen them who could stick their entire fist in their chest with no problems at all, didn't even require surgery (mine isn't near that at all). And she also told me she'd put her farm on the line that my dent wouldn't get worse, however I am kind of thick headed I wanted some more opinions. Thanks a lot everyone!!

Well I have a dent in my chest as well probably as deep as yours but im only 14 I sometimes get chest pains but it feels like being winded or stabbed in my chest. I'm going to see the doctor about it soon let them have a proper look, it's good to see someone else with it.

My boyfriend has a dent about the same size as yours in his chest, maybe bigger. His mum wont let him go to the doctors about it. And its worrying me because hes always saying he hates himself for it, because people call him. Hes quite skinny aswell :s
I really would like to find out if hes ok, he sometimes says he wants to die because of it. Its really worrying me now :s

Concave chest
I was bourne with it and am 17 now but mine is an inch deep at least but no pains there are so things to get rid/cover up 1st the nuss treatment google it. 2nd there is a hand opperated pump u put over your chest which is supposed to work but because so new inconclusive
3rdly if your young (I.E under 1Cool and your sternum hasn't fused with your ribcage the you can do excercises to get rid of it mainly lying on your back and building up your pecks but it's not how much you lift it's all about movement.
Finally for the lazy man or just quik fix there are things to fill your hole.

Honestly we are the lucky ones at least the poking in not out like the convex chest
