I just dislike the way that a woman who
likes and wants sex is painted as 'soiled'
and not worthy of marrying, while when
it's a guy it's just 'oh, boys will be

The double standard really bothers me
too.
I would be just as concerned about a guy
friend who was having tons of
one-night-stands as I would be for a
female friend. I would be concerned that
they were being safe and be concerned that
they were happy with the arrangement.
Women can be just as into "just sex" as
men.

It's not really a double standard; you
have to respect that men and women are
wired differently.
I'd be concerned that they'd be safe, too,
but the reasons behind it are most likely
just biological. (Although not in all
instances, of course.)
Girls- self esteem
Guys- spread the seed
If you think that guys aren't just
constantly wanting sex just for the sake
of having sex MUCH MORE than women, you
need to talk to some frank guys.

Oh, absolutely there are more men looking
for just sex than women looking for just
sex. Yes, I do understand the differences
between men and women. 
I just wouldn't consider my female friend
having one night stands an automatic
warning bell.... although it would depend
on the friend I guess. Some of them I
would be concerned about - because they as
an individual are more emotional. I also
have guy friends who are more emotional
and if they were having one-night-stands
it would concern me too. I also have guy
friends who have had more one night stands
than they can keep count of.... and they
don't concern me (although I did make a
mental note never to have sex with them...
just incase they weren't always safe).
Speaking of one-night-stands, I always
found it so empowering to think that there
were all these guys out at the bar, trying
so hard to hook up for the night with
someone.... and knowing that we as women
could have a one-night-stand pretty much
anytime we wanted. Women have a lot of
power in the gate-keeper sense of things.

I think men have sex for emotional reasons
sometimes as well, just not nearly as
often as women do. Same with women-there
are women who have sex just for sex, it's
just that there aren't as many of them as
there are men. One scenario isn't more
wrong than the other, the reasons are
usually just different.

I am not being judgemental. If someone is
a drug user and I call them one and that
they shouldnt be doing it; it is not being
judgemental. It is stating facts. Judging
them would be condemning them to hell.
There is forgiveness yes. But it didnt
sound like I heard any regret.
You can do what you want with your body
sexually. But it doesnt make it right.
Remember I use the bible as my authority.
Please dont put words in my mouth. If you
say that "you think you are high and
mighty", thats you saying it. I dont think
so. I sin. I am a sinner.

I'm still ashamed at this point in my life
that I did have a past of one-night
stands. Sure, I'm a guy and some of you
think men are "wired" differently, so you
cut them some slack.
I don't deserve it because I was just
filling a physical need and I was not
interested in intimacy or even the
feelings of the girl. I'm sure each of
these women hated my guts because I
deceived all of them into thinking I was
genuinely interested in them. Of course,
all of them could have been doing the same
thing to me and I'm the one living under a
delusion.
As I got older, married and had kids, that
stuff was something I wanted to forget and
I never told my wife. It's a great feeling
when a person accepts you without even
asking about your past. Luckily, this was
before the medical issues like STDs, so I
never had any trouble with diseases. I
probably wouldn't be involved with many
women like that now because, frankly, the
health issues scares me to death.
When I was young and single, I didn't even
know what sex had to do with emotions.
Now, I think all sex has an emotional
attachment for me.
