Q: Nerve Or Muscle Problem With Shoulders

The last couple of weeks or so my shoulders, upper back, and arms (mostly my right arm) have had this tingling feeling, like my skin is crawling or like someone is tickling me under my arms. I was thinking maybe it was my nerves or muscles in my upper back, shoulders, and arm. I sleep on my right side and I thought maybe I pinched a nerve. I've tried sleeping on my other side and on my back but that doesn't seem to help. It also bothers me if I have my back up against anything like a chair back or when I'm trying to go to sleep and I'm laying on my back. Does anyone have any idea what may be causing this and if so, do you have any suggestions as to how to stop it because it is really annoying me. Thanks.

Hi
Not a doctor, but its does sound as though you have a pinched nerve. Have no earthly idea on what to do except maybe see a physican and let him xray to rule out any damage. The tingling you described was what I had in my shoulder and it was how I found out I had a pinched nerve. Was on Flexeril for a few days, but other than that its fine now!

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll have to check on that. Anyone else have any suggestions/ideas?
