One of my wife's eyes has a permanently dark sclera (eye white). It looks like a bruise that covers the white part of her eye and she it has been like that since childhood. She is not sure but thinks it possibly stems from an operation to correct cross sight when she was young. Does anybody have any information on this condition? A name for it? Possible correction?
