What kinds of movies or TV shows do you like and why? How much time in a week do you spend watching? Who are you watching with?

We watch only movies because we don't have TV anymore. Whenwe did have it I mostly watched the Simpsons and that stupid chef show....uhhh....Hell's Kitchen. I always thought i would have been great on that show. For movies, my favorites have to be Adam Sandler related. He is an oaf, but her makes me laugh and he seemms like he could be my friend in real life. That is what I watch when I am alone, sad, or sick. My hubby and I usually watch suspense or martial arts movies. We love Jackie Chan, esp his original stuff. We love foreign films, especially chinese films, but I hate watching them in english. Mandarin is such a sexy language, we think it adds something to the movie if you watch it in its native language. For all that though, He likes stupid humor, which I can't stand. I prefer intelligent humor or Monty Python stuff.

With my daughter, we like to watch The Labyrith (oh yeah, david bowie in thights!) Pirates of the Carribean, Spiderman (her hero) and Pixar movies. They are hilarious, especially madagascar and The Incredibles. Her recent favorit is Holes and Nanny Mc Phee which are both incredibly fabulous!

We watch 1-2 movies a week, or more if it's raining outside.

My bf and I watch SNL and Star Trek reruns on TV. I never turn it on for mindless entertainment. We don't have cable, obviously. Or else I would be stuck to the pretty changing screen and never get anything done.

We watch all kinds of movies fairly frequently late in the night. Woody Allen, Albert Brooks, sci-fi, fantasy, martial arts, documentaries (I love documentaries), et cetera.

We just watched "An American Werewolf in London" and I really enjoyed it.

I love that movie too, but it always freaks me out, esp when he's out there in the moors in the fog and all.

Sci-fi or fantasy mostly for fiction, and for non-fiction I love science based shows or Animal Planet. How It's Made is terrific! What would you classify CSI as?

I also love Anime Smile

I have to make myself not get sucked into TV at night or I will be up all night. I really get sucked into the reality shows. I was a happy girl on Monday when the Hills started again...I know, I know, they are so fake and stuck up... I know... I used to live out in Southern California, so I usually watch it to see if I recognize anything...I just happened to have gotten hooked while doing that. DH and I usually watch TV for about an hour or two after dinner. Other than that I watch the Today show every morning while I am getting ready for work.

I am really pathetic about it... I have been hooked since they were on Laguna Beach. I grew up in Orange county so I recognize most places they go to.
Now they have a new one... Newport Beach... on MTV... I assume it will be as drama filled and with super filthy rich snobs as laguna...but that makes it more entertaining to me.

I cannot watch soap operas, sitcoms (aside from like, Will and Grace <_<) or ANYTHING like a reality show aside from like, Survivor. Well, Big Brother was standable too.

Dang, I'm jealous. Where'd you get it and how much? We keep looking on eBay but the prices are hard for us to justify.

I just bought my bf the blueprints for the Enterprise at a yard sale. He got it out like a 12 year old and pawed through it immediately. Laughing

David Bowie is my idol. You see his package so good in that movie! I go completely loco. Dance magic, dace!

I don't watch tv. I don't own a tv. If I'm somewhere with a tv and I'm absolutely bored I will turn one on. I like documentaries mostly. I do have shows I like but I watch them on the computer mostly, or rent them. The Office, and Home Movies. Oh, I liked Kenny vs Spenny for a while.

My DH got it for me from BMG DVD club. I don't know what he paid for it. He also bought me The Incredible Hulk full series and the first two seasons of Pinky and the Brain.
