Regarding Wisdom Teeth - Is This Normal? Help Pleaseeeeeeeee Posted: 08-16-07 07:19am
Hi, i have just had my 4 wisdom teeth
removed and they had to cut into the jaw
bone for the top left wisdom teeth which i
was expecting but i have some bone
sticking out on the inside of my mouth and
its really sore were it is rubbing against
my tongue is this normal? will it ever
heal with skin forming over the bone?
Any advice would be good as im really
quite scared.
Thank you

i would have it checked out personally.
is it like a bone shard? in that case it
shouldnt be there. skin will re grow but
it will take some time. Is this sharp at
all?

Thanks for your response!
Yes it does feel sharp and my mouth is
really stinging, i think the stitches are
like connected and are really tight - it
feels like that is what is stinging like
as i move my mouth it stings in certain
movements, Its hard to explain - the pain
is abit like a mouth ulcer that is painful
when you eat for example just worse.

yeah go get that checked out. shouldnt be
like that. you should only feel skin, a
little of the stitch and a hole.
