Q: Separated Pubic Bone (ouch!)

About two years ago I delivered my baby boy, and as I found out later I separated my pubic bone by about two centimeters causing a lot of pain for over a year. The area still hurts me sometimes especially when I have my period or have sex. My question is how long does this take to heal and will it ever heal.

How did you find out, did a doc tell you? They should've explained the recovery. Most people find it goes away a while after pregnancy. If you are still in pain, I would go back to the doc and demand answers.

Seperated Pelvis
I seperated my pelvic bone 15 mm or 1 1/2 inches 2 years ago with the birth of my son. Also, every time I step my pelvis shifts 3/4 inch. Since then I have been through 2 years of physical therapy, aqua therapy, chiropractors. My pelvis as of a month ago was still seperated 8mm or about 3/4 inch. What it has come down to is that they say my only option is to put a metal plate in my pelvis to stabilize it.
