Q: I Have Noticed a Pimple-like Lump On the Skin of My Penis

Over the last week or so I've noticed a pimplish lump on the left side of my penis. It looks almost identical to a mosquito bite in size and shape, but doesn't itch or hurt or anything. Its a little more red than the surrounding skin (maybe a little shinier than normal too) and bumps out a bit from the side. It seems to be entirely on the skin layer, and may have grown a little in the week but its hard to tell. There is nothing else wrong at all I can find.

I quickly went on the net to search for possible things it could be, and "genital warts" kept coming up. I haven't had sex in about 9 or 10 months now, and I had protection all the times before. Could that still be a possibility? Sad

Is it possible that its a pimple or a regular wart? I'll get to a doctor soon but I've moved to a new city and haven't been to any doctors here yet.

Thanks in advance.

It's possible that it's just a pimple. I wouldn't even go to a doc unless it spreads or itches or something. Since you have been protecting yourself, it's not likely that it's an std.
