Q: Anxiety & Stress: Tension headachs, dizzy, neck pain ... ??

i've been have the following symptoms: Tension headachs, feel off balance and dizzy, high blood pressure, front and back neck pain, Tight Throat, Jerks mostly at night but some time during the day, Heart palpatations. I have had a ct scan of head, mri of my neck, xray of my neck, ct scan of my chest, ekg of my heart, a Stress test on my heart, carotic arteries checked and blood work done they found nothing. I'm I going crazy or is this Anxiety??? If so what can I do to stop It!!!!!! Help!!!!!!!

Hi there, there are probably several things going on with you. Have you ever been checked by a dentist specializing in TMJ disorder? People prone to stress-related illnesses like anxiety will very often develope TMJ problems, which can account for pain, dizziness, tight throat, ear problems. The night jerks can be realted to possibly sleep apnea, which also often occurs in TMJ patients. Im glad your heart is okay!
Also, here is a random question: does Bassdude mean that you are a bass player? They have notoriously horrible posture and spine issues. Especially if you hold the bass low. If it means you are a fisherman, discard previous advice, LOL! Crystal

Look up hyperventilation syndrome. I brought the book by dinah bradley and it works wonders. Tell me how you get on.

sounds like a case of tmj , talk to your dr. about it theirs a really good forum on tmj here if you want to know more about TMJ
