Q: Peekaboo And Morning Sickness

i feel like crap today. i've been queasy since i woke up and i just want to vomit so i'll feel better.

i kept running to the bathroom thinking i was going to be sick and finn thought i was playing a game.

i'm hanging over the toilet waiting for something to happen and i keep seeing him peeking around the corner at me. when he'd see me look at him he'd let out this huge squeal and take off as fast as he could.

so i was left laughing and retching and gagging.

it was wicked cute though. (the finn part, not me hanging over the bowl...)

I so know how you feel. Mine has just now started to ease up finally. I guess that 14 weeks is like a turning point for some people. I've only been nauseous about one day since Friday.

Finn is adorable Laughing yay for helping Mommy feel better, little man!

I'm sorry you're feeling bad, Bridget. Sad but that's probably a good sign in your pregnancy, so in a way I'm not sorry. If that makes sense. Laughing

Don't let your stomach get empty!! That's the WORST thing you can do with nausia! The SECOND my stomach got empty, that's all she wrote!

i just want to vomit!!! i know i would feel so much better!

we're on day 2 of all day nausea. ugh.

this morning i was leaning over the toilet again, praying something would come up, and finn came up and was touching my back and he kept laying his head on me like "it's ok".

i wish i could make some toast! if only i hadn't set the toaster oven on fire!!!

i tried eating cereal this morning and i got about 4 bites down and felt like i was going to vomit.

I thought the same way! If only I could puke, I'd for SURE feel better. But I never puked. My mouth would water, like something would happen...then nothing. I was SECONDS away from putting my toothbrush down my throat. But I didn't want to start puking instead of just feeling nausious.

I'd rather feel sick all day than to literally BE sick all day. Ya know?

I found that snacking on ANYTHING helped. cereal bars, grapes, cheese, jello, pudding, bananas, you name it! Cereal wasn't a big for me. Something about the soggy bites...::shudder::

I"m still in SHOCK that you're preggy toooo!!!

that's true, rose. finn does cheer me up! i can't help but laugh at how cute he's being while i'm trying to be sick.

sarah, NO WAY would i rather be sick all day than actually throw up. i *know* i would feel way better if it would just come up. with my first pregnancy i was beyond sick and always felt so much better after actually vomiting. with finn i just felt mildly ill and would throw up every night at 6 and then be fine. i just hate the queasiness. i hear you on the mouth watering, i lean over the toilet and just keep spitting.

i felt better after lunch for about a half hour, now i feel crappy again.

you should eat some fruit in between meals. I promise, a semi-full belly prevents nausia.

I'm sooo glad that part's over for me. I was MISERABLE! blah!!!

I bought a HUGE bag of Granny Smith Apples!! WHen my nausia was at it's worst, I would cut it up and munch on em! Of course I had to share it with Oni, but the sourness did the TRICK!

I also bought lemons. I would eat an entire lemon JUST to get to sleep! I'd wind up burning my lips and have to hold off on the lemons for a couple of days! lol!
