hi well im in same situation but im 14 days late lol i ave done same i done tests which ave been negative i ave done a doctors test (urine) which was also negative i am goin to wait n c if i get my period and if not do another test i have read that ppl have not got a positive result till they have been 3- 6 months preg so i wud just wait n c i know its hard as i am goin throu the same thing n t make it worse for me me sis in law is preg due same time as wot i wud b if i was so i gotta live throu that as well as knowin i might not b just go c ya doc hun n tell them

Urine tests normally become most accurate about 3-4 weeks after the last sexual encounter; this is how long it takes for HCG to build up in your system. If you want to know sooner, I suggest going to a clinic and getting a blood test done.

Thank you! Its just that its going on the 5th week... so if i was pregnant shouldn't it have shown up possitive by now? I dont know... I just wish i would start or get a possitive so i know either way you know?...

yes. blood tests are more accurate. they detect a hormone in your blood called HCG.

You can request an HCG blood test so you won't be worried.

Not sure in US but I can have bloodwork requested for free from a physician or in a clinic since I'm located in Canada and we have the government health card.

I am in the same situation. I am now 15 days late. 4 negitive urine test including on at the gyn office. Now what?? Sore bb's light to moderate cramping that feels diffrent from AF. Moody and very tired. I am so confused. Please keep us posted.

Yeah today is day 14 and I still haven't started... its killing me to wait a couple more days to take another test, but i have NEVER been this late before and if Im not pg then i dont know what else could be going on . Did you have the Blood Test done??? I am thinking if I dont start by the end of this month and still have Neg Im going to go have one done. People are telling me to go now but I am hoping to either just start any day or a Possitive show up.. just so i know. But I am so in the same boat you're in... but i sont have sore bb's I am just VERY tired, irritable, and CONSTANT headaches. Im not sure if that's a syptom or not but its there lol. Well, I thought I'd add my input since our last period started around the same time.

My last start date was the 7th of July, and I'm usually on a 26-28 day cycle, so by This past Sunday, I was growing quite nervous.....And for apparently good reason. I took TWO tests tonight and they both registered "PREGNANT" in less than 1 minute.

I say, most women know their own body. If something doesn't seem right, you should definitely go to your Dr.

Well... I went to the Dr. on 8/10/07. See gave me a urine test and it came back negitive. She told me that in some cases, just a few, some women for whatever reason don't exscret(sp) enough of the hormone in their urine till 6-8 weeks pg. WOW!! I thought it would pick it up all the time. I guess i was wrong. Anyways I too believe that we know are bodies better then any test. I don't know if i feel pg... i just know i dont feel right. For the past to days i have also been very forgetfull. Like loopy at times. BB's are incredibly sore but feel like i am being pinched at times. Dr. said if no AF shows by the 2nd wk of sept. she will do a blood test. But in the mean time i got pre nates and to take a test every week until then. Best of luck to you!!

Yeah I dont know what the deal is... i took another test tonight and still a BFN... Like i've been saying before i wish somthing would show up or happen. I dunno maybe i'm one of those few 6-8week cases lol... i dont know. I guess im gonna have to wait a see... if not in a week then im going to go for the blood test.

Just an update. Still no AF. 48 days since last one. I will test again tomarrow. If no AF by Sept.5 I am to go back to the dr for blood test. WOW what an emotional rollercoaster this is. Keep us updated.

with my second pregnancy I did not show postive until 8-9 weeks pregnant and my mother told me she did not make enough horrmone until just over 3 moths pregnant but she knew her body and argued with the doctors in 1974 that she was pregnant and she had to force them to do another test and she figured she was three months and sure enogh this time it was postive she said her docotr was truely amazed. Then she had me 6 moths later plus a few days I was a late baby. Not that it matter to my mom she barely felt a labour pain for either me or my sister. She had me in about 1/2 an hour of getting to the hospital and only pushed once and I popped out. lucky woman me on the other hand long labour and 1 short delivery 4 hours and the other twin would not come so ER section and my young planned c-section. I hope my children getit easier than I did.
