ive always done the test, they never
actually asked ifi wanted it or not just
said they were doing it like all the other
tests they normally do. My sister had a
scare with her son they misread the u/s so
she ended up having more done and found
out he was just normal.

I declined the test. It would cause worry
and besides I wouldn't abort my baby if I
had it anyways.
Whenever my dr offered it to me she said I
would only need to get it if I would get
rid of the child. I said I wouldn't and so
she said it is unnecessary then.

I declined the test as well. I didn't see
the point considering it wouldn't change
my decision in any way.

I just got offered the test and when they
were explaining everything to me and my
husband we both decided to decline the
test. I don't believe in aborting except
in certain situations so we just thought
it would be better to not have the test
done.

I had the test done with all of mine and
they all came back normal. I wouldnt have
aborted any of my children either,
regardless if it had downs but I would
have just liked to know so I could have
been prepared.
My sister had the test done and it came
back abnormal. She ended up having an
amnio and it turned out that everything
was fine. She now has a healthy 10 yr
old!!
