Sorry to hear that your father is having very severe disease. I guess your doing everything right to help him.
You've mention that he had some complications due the cancer, but are you aware that avastin can cause some serious life-threatening complications(gastrointestinal perforation, kidney malfunction , severe hypertension)

We are aware of the potentially dangerous side effects of Avastin but my father is ok so far.

He takes it since Feb 2006 and as far as his bi-annual CAT scans show Avastin works at keeping the liver, lung and bone tumors from growing.

The only side effect was a runny nose, like in a mild cold, which is nothing compared to the chemo side effects. Chemo was making him feel so bad that he only completed 4 sessions out of 6 planned after the surgery.
