I had the flu 2 months ago. Ever since then I have not been myself. I have been not feeling well on and off. I find that i feel worse when i overexert myself and then it stays and is hard to get rid of. My main symptoms are tiredness, no energy and a dry throught . This past week i have been alot worse with a cold, very weak in my legs and absoultly no energy.
My doctor thinks i have a post viral condition simular to chronic fatigue. All she told me is to rest and take multi vitamins
any one else know how else to imporve my health and get better?

What's your diet like? Have you considered cutting our sugars and caffeine? These do nothing for energy. Try to get a little exercise every day and work up from there. It can really help to stretch for 10-15 minutes a day.

post viral fatigue
sorry to hear that you still have post viral symptoms 2 months after but I am glad also to find someone like myself. I have had post viral fatigue now since winter. I just can't do anything and am so tired, and sometimes I find my legs so weak I can hardly walk ,they feel so wobbly. I don't know what to do about it. I do take vitamins everyday.Have you found a cure yet?
I wonder if there is a immune boosting tablet or something?
Is it normal for it to go on for so long?

Lisa -you may consider autoimmune..Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue Symdrome are two that seems to take over with some illness or injury..I had pneumoina and never got any better..I have done vitaminsa, holistic approaches, and many other avenues and I still have sutoimmune and don't want it believe me..

Now it is 2 years later and i am all better. It lasted for about 3 long miserable months and then it was better with flare ups here and there for about half a year.
I am dreading getting the flu again.
There is a herbal remedy that one could take but i was not able to take it as i was breastfeeding at the time
