I am four weeks pregnant and have just started bleeding with a few tiny little clots in it. Is this normal? I read that light bleeding is normal but how do you know what is light bleeding or what is not normal?

Extremely eHealthy
Welcome to ehealth! I agree that you should call your dr and let him(her) know that you are bleeding and that you also have some clots. How far along are you? Are you having any cramps? I have always thought that if ever in doubt that you should get things checked out, even if your dr is not on caall, you should talk to your dr that is on call. All the best to you! keep us updated.

Thanks for your input! I did go to the doctor and unfortunetly the blood test shows my numbers are extremely low which means I will probably misscarry. I have to go back on Wed. and get another blood test to make sure the numbers didn't go up but the doctor is pretty sure by then it'll be over. But another question i have is.. since i've bleeding so much over the past few days didn't it mess my period schedule up? And if so, how do I know when my most fertile day is?
