Hi everyone,

I have a few questions. I need a little clarification. What does Neuropathy feel like? Can it affect your face? Can you get muscle twitches?

The reason I am asking is. I have been having this funny tingly, buzzing, like a light pressure sensation in my feet, legs, hands, arms, and face. sometimes it affects my back, stomach, and shoulders. It's not painful, it's just bothersome. Sometimes my legs and arms feel weak, like I was working out, like they are fatigued. And my feet feel a little funny when it touches the ground, not painful. It comes out of nowhere, that is how it started. I'm not really having pain, and the tingly is more in my face than anything. I have a few little 1-2 second muscle twitches that occur in different places. I have been to the Dr, and she ran a CBC with differential, TSH, Rheu(something), Amylase, Lipids. Everything came back normal. I was referred to a Neurologist, she did an exam, she checked my vision, reflexes, she poked my foot with instruments, checked my balance, also did vibrations on my foot. The results from the exam where normal, and she states that she feels what I am having is anxiety. I've had a CT Scan, which is normal. She told me that she is going to send me for an EMG, just to relax my anxiety. I have been reading up on Neuropathy. My docs are leaning with Anxiety though. Can anyone just give me an insight on what you think? Maybe I need to stop reading into these things, because I start freaking out.

I forgot to add, that I have surgical menopause. I have not been taking my hormones, well I did for June, and stopped and it seems like these symptoms started right after, I stopped the meds.
