On my left testicle there is not so much a lump as a detached mass. It has been there for a least a while(maybe forever I'm not sure). I can feel my entire testicle, but I can also feel where there is something holding it on. It has some slight mobility. I don't know what to make of it, but I am going to see a doctor about it. Does anyone have any thoughts?

Is it soft, and above the testicle? Could be varicocele.

But I say, don't think about what it could be, and just wait until you get to the doctor.
