I recently had hepitis(inflammation) in my liver and mono according to my doctor, i was sick for like 3-4 weeks. I rarely went to poop but I did vomit whatever I ate. But now after the sickness has subsided I use the bathroom regularly and my stool is not as big as it was. I constantly feel like going to the bathroom after i eat a lot. So before my sickness I was maybe going to the bathroom once a week, now I go at least once a day?

Previous to my sickness, I had an internal hemroid where I was treated by a specilalist, ever since then I have not seen any blood in my stool. This was not that recent either. Till this day I haven't seen any blood of any kind, I think i saw one small spot of blood awhile back, but i was havin a diffucult time going to the bathroom that day, but other than it I havent seen any blood.

As for the stool, It looks like regular poop, but when I used to go to the bathroom my stool was quite larger, and I would prolounge my bathroom use to 4-7 days. Now its once a day at least.

I've had no weight loss other than when i was sick, infact I've gained like 15-20 pounds.

I am a male, 19 years old.

I don't feel any pain, my stomach rubbles a lot more. I dont feel weak or anything like, I lift weights and run almost every day. I barely drink anymore.

A lot of people have told me its a good thing that I go to the bathroom more now, but I've read bowel movement is a symptom of colon cancer.

If anyone could maybe help shed some light on this for me, I'd really appreciate it.

I've heard that a healthy digestive system will expel excrement after each large meal...up to 3 times a day. Are you concerned that your BMs are too frequent?

yes. My brother is medically inclined, and he likes to scare me telling me things to make me think I have some crazy disease, but its not like it isnt possible, I'm gonna see a doctor anyways this week.

My way of thought is this, this change in bowel movement was caused by my recent sickness, but now when I use the bathroom my stool is quite small and it goes down a lot easier then before I was sick. BEfore it often was diffucult and very large, which is what I beilieved caused my internal hemroid.

I only feel bloated after I've eaten, I'm not gonna say I don't eat as much mainly because I still do eat a lot. Lke for example, I'm laying in bed now my stomach is rumbling and I feel as if I can use the bathroom, With this change in bowel movement I feel no pain whatsoeva. I do see frequent farting since my sickness, but again I beilieve I could of been farting alot before Smile

OK. Well check in after you visit the Doc...but it seems that you're actually describing a healthy bowel instead of a sick one. What do you mean by "Small stool"...?
